Martyrs

Since this blog is about what inspires me, I'll start it with the people who deserve our respect the most. Martyrs.

Thích Quảng Đức died on June the 11th, 1963. He was a Vietnamese Buddhist Monk whoset himself on fire protesting against the discrimination of Buddhist in Vietnam.

Everybody should know Socrates, the philosopher. He died 399 BC after the famous trial of Socrates ordered his execution.
He was killed because of his morals and his teachings.

Gandhi. Of course.
Died on the 30th of January 1948 after freeing India.

Dr. King who lead america a great step forward without the use of any violence. He survived many assaults but died 1968.
Until then he was arrested more than 30 times.

Those people had the greatest dedication to their goals and in the end they died for it.

  10. What about Ernesto 'Che' Guevara? He did fighting for what he believe in and he was even bad-ass up to the end as his last words quoted him saying "Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man".
